Holly and Gerred, we are sending as much good Karma as we can muster your way
(Susan): The long lazy days of summer are upon us. Yesterday we finished out the last season of the Gilmore Girls which we started watching last summer during Tessa's leg lengthening. Rob went off to watch live music and Sam and I made Dr. Pepper floats (you really should try one this summer). Guess who is going to have to get bifocals in order to play the violin? That'd be me, the younger of the two older Smiths. Dang!
Birthday Peeps
Practice run
Surveying the grounds
Stage side
Pretty girls, they all pass me by. . . .
Could that be someone practicing Superhero skills?
Getting purple highlights (check out the long reddish locks on that girl!)
Hey, I think that harp is upside down!
Secret Agent Man or Secret Guitar Playing Man?
Pretty girls #2
Is that electric upside down too and where did that 12 string come from?
Post show cosmic glow
Mayola and Janice
From oldest to youngest, Mayola to Isaak, a good time was had by all!
And Rob got to have his name chanted over and over from someone other than the cat!
More good pics. I can't believe how many were taken by so many people. It's still all going over and over in my head. We finally got the rain yesterday! Another quiet weekend here to rest up for FL. We'll join Sonneks at Mayo on Tues. for another chemo. G. Delores

Some of my favorites landed here. Of the 600+ images from that weekend, you've got blog joy fodder until Rob's Show 2: Electric Boogaloo. Awesome light in my day!

Tessa, do you know the 80s reference that is Electric Boogaloo? Unless Dadio can do a mean worm... And I don't mean urology! OK, come to think of it, I want to see Susan do a coffee grinder in the pit next year. And I don't mean caffeine!

Dana,
I am working on the worm. Abbey can do it really well so I have a good teacher and I won't need bifocals for that one. Just some Abs. Get it?
Zanny,
We requested Honky Tonk Woman by the Stones last night as the cow bell intro just so TOTALLY ROCKS!

Abbey, here goes my top 10, just to keep you reading.
1. Rob - pulling off this show makes you the ultimate cool guy in my book! I actually thought you were pretty cool before, but now...
2. Holding hands with Susan, watching Susan as Rob sang his song to her, feeling loved by Susan.
3. Peeing in my pants not once, but twice in the jumpy things.
4. Harrison sobbing during the Rising, because he got it. It made him think about our Aunt Mary Ellen.
5. Playing 9 square - such a fun game for lots of people. All kinds of fun for everyone!
6. Abbey and Beth singing and playing together. Beautiful! Beth, you really ate it up, and Abbey, I am sure you have no idea how beautiful you are, but girl, you have it all goin on! Brains, personality, recently realized musical talent. Wowza!
7. Zanny/Dad duet... hips thrusting!
8. Witnessing family and friends coming together for such a happy occasion. Don't we all need more of these moments!
9. Tessa singing, even though she was nervous. I love watching people try new things. Always GO FOR IT!
10. Grandma Mayola and her bright red lipstick. Gorgeous!
