Hi Tessa and Rob,

I'm just now looking at the blog for the first time in over 24 hours. Ugh! Usually I check several times a day to read the new comments and see if Rob might have decided to post twice in one day!! This business of working full time and even a bit of overtime this month is FOR THE BIRDS!! The fatter paychecks will be nice when they start rolling in, though. Enough complaining.

Abbey is in Topeka right now (as you know) spending time with Mom and Dad. I miss having her around. She will be home by Friday for her softball team's end of season party at the Royals game. We are going to 'tailgate' beforehand. It will be my very first time to tailgate. Right now I am a tailgating virgin...at age 44. WOW! It's supposed to be 98 degrees on Friday which means there will be a heat index of like 115 degrees at 5pm in that parking lot.

That's about all that's going on here. Oh yeah, Tessa, tonight when I went running, a song came up on my iPod that made me think of you... it's called I Believe In You by Amanda Marshall. I't a great song that I think you would like about believing in yourself and others. It made me think of the trials you go through having one leg that doesn't grow like the other. By keeping the faith, working hard and believing in yourself, you are mastering tremendous obstacles. Hang in there, my dear.

Your friend, Beth

According to Webster's, there are "toes" at the end of both potatoes and tomatoes! I thought one had 'toes' and the other didn't, but guess I was wrong ... certainly not the first time. :-)

We made major progress in the computer room yesterday with the addition of the storage units. It
is beginning to look like this room was not ransacked.

Glad you are getting so much snail mail, Tessa! There's something about being able to hold pretty cards in your hands and display them as reminders of how much people care. You just can't do that with Web Posts -- although they are great, too!

Suzanne and Mitchell are coming over soon. Today is acupuncture day. I've not been there for a long time, so I am looking forward to it.

Have a great day and I will check in with you tomorrow.

Love,
Gramma Judy

Just back from my run-walk. Kind of a nice day, not too humid. I wondered who would throw out the first Dan Quayle reference.
Have a good one.

Hi, Tessa. How are you feeling. We have been saying prayers for you and hoping you are feeling good. When do you get to come back to kc. We've missed you at volleyball camp, but it has kind of been allot of work so you havent missed a bunch of fun. Have you talked to Abby allot, or has she come to Baltimore to see you? Well I just wanted to say Hi and let you know myself and my family are thinking about you. You can e-mail me back if you get a chance I would like to hear from you. Take care, Alexis.

Susan

Tessa,
Your leg looks really long in the journalling picture. Keep it up!
I will have a fourteen hour day today. Call me later on your new cell, preferably during my meeting tonight.

I'm not sure about the spelling of tomatoes but it looks right. Just like potatoes looks right. Any English majors out there, or how about the school kids with more recent spelling class. We are really tired from our traveling so will probably not do much today. We sure saw a lot of tall corn fields in Iowa and Wind Turbines by the hundreds in the northern part. Did you know one wind turbine can supply the electric power for 300 homes? Hope its a good day for you. G. Delores

We watched Juno with the kids here awhile back and everyone thought it was hilarious. Very adult themed. Kat had her ears pierced on Sunday and can now wear makeup (since she's 14....). Very adult themed. Off to work - have a good day and check one more off the list.

PS=== Does tomatoes have an E in it?

You guys have to get back to KC before they eat all the tomatoes. Dont like tomatoes, then get well anyway soon.
Love to All!!!
