Grampa Smith

Considering the season, if there is a hidden door don't we have to ask the question: What else is hidden just waiting to be found?

Go Hawks and please just try Redbirds!

Love to All!

What a cool find! I am so glad you are going to restore it. It will be so pretty as a part of your new bedroom! I, too, wonder if there aren't other surprises just waiting to be discovered in the walls of your home!

Too bad about the Broncos. The games last sooo late down here since they don't start until 9:00, but I watched until about midnight and things were
looking pretty grim, so I gave up and went to bed. Bummer.

I went to Teufel's office yesterday a.m. and have never seen so many people there in my life! The whole waiting room was full, there were 8 of us standing due to lack of chairs, and there were even a few outside! I didn't think I would ever get out of there, but since I was just there for a blood draw, I lucked out and got in fairly quickly. Therefore, I was able to get to Tampa just in time to get Zanny and Mitchell at 1:00, their extended check out time.

We took the scenic route home, which took far too long, but it was pretty.

We stopped at the Punta Gorda Publix for Mitchell suppies and he decided he was going to push the cart and do the shopping on his own. He could barely reach the handle, but off he went. His first stop was the vitamin counter. He picked up a package of vitamins, and very studiously "read" the front and then turned over the box to read the back, and then he threw it into the cart. He then moved on to the bananas, where he did the same thing. It was so funny. Once we found the frozen cinnamon waffles he lost interest, because he started eating an ice cold frozen waffle! :-)

No big plans for today, in fact, they are still sleeping. I am sure we will
find something fun to do though. He keeps asking to go to the airport,
which means he is ready for an adventure.

We need to settle on a date for our Smith Christmas before you leave
tomorrow, so let's plan on talking tonight so we can nail it down. Cody
and Amy need to make their airline reservations ASAP, so I promised we would make a decision this week.

Enjoy your day. I am loving and missing you all.
