Wow...all of those leaves! That is how Minnesota looked about a month and a half ago. It is getting colder up here. I am hoping for some snow for Thanksgiving...yes...Im a die hard Minnesotan who LOVES the snow until Jan 1st. Then it can magically melt! (But of course we know that NeVeR happens.

We are so excited to have everyone up for next weekend. We're sorry Rob can't make it, but that will (hopefully) give you guys a reason to come up again....soon. :)

Have a great weekend! We are off to buy mini trees to decorate for our front portico. ANd Gramma & Grampa Herzberg are visiting this afternoon...I know a little girl who is VeRy excited!

Take care.

Ba hum Bug to Uncle Rob! You aren't even going to be there for Thanksgiving anyway so why do you have to keep the house in Thanksgiving mode! The Christmas frenzy begins just as soon as the turkey carcas hits the garbage can in the driveway anyway, so you might as well be prepared. I say pull out those tupperware bins and get crackin'. Times a wastin'. We decorated early for exactly the same reasons. We leave Tuesday for New York, make a quick stop home and then travel again. No sense in having the decorating suffer because of travel schedules. I know what you are thinking..."zactly!". Yes, dear, you have got a case of the zactlies. So hop to it and get those bubble lights a bubblin'. Don't let Uncle Scrooge get in your way! Christmas should be fun. So what if the fun starts a few weeks early.

Love, Zanny

Hi.

Here's my two cents worth on the Christmas decorations issue ...

It seems like the fair way would be to take a vote once Rob gets back from the game. If he is out voted, then so be it. We live in a democracy not a dictatorship!

I have my own "dictator" here so I am a great one to talk. We stopped at a garage sale this morning and there was a brand new steam carpet cleaner for sale -- dirt cheap. I have to crawl around on my hands and knees when the carpet needs shampooing, so I was ready to glom onto that immediately. However, I was told that I couldn't have it because we have no room to store it. With that in mind, I know who will be cleaning the carpet from now on. :-)

We just returned from the neighbor's wedding. What fun. It was like a beach wedding without the beach ... in their living room. They had live tropical music and everything looked exactly like it were happening on some tropical island. She has decorated the house with the neatest stuff, including at least 4-5 bright, fun colors just in the living area. It was awesome. With all that color it felt like a very happy house. The guests were having a great time, including their next door neighbor who was totally nuts but lots of fun. No one had ended up in their pool when we left, but that will probably happen before the night is over. It was a cool wedding and fun party -- our first party invitation in a very long time. We left even tho there were still a few folks there. We have a big game to watch today!

Tessa's hair looks so pretty in that picture! I like the curls!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Love to all ...
