(Susan): We survived travelling on the most travelled weekend of the year! The kids were great, the flights easy and there were no long lines. We had a wonderful weekend full of turkey, baking cookies and warm spiced cider. the snow on Saturday morning at Uncle Tom's was clearly a sign to get that tree up and those outdoor lights hung. We loved seeing the new addition at Uncle Tom's and the new house at Uncle David's. What a great place to visit. Tonight I am thankful for family and easy travels, a leg that is three and a quarter inches longer and Suzanne. She is crazy enough to be headed to Invesco Field with Rob to sit and watch an outdoor nighttime Bronco game in Denver snow with Rob. Thank God I am not there, the heat is on, and we are about to start decorating for our big Christmas party next Saturday night.
Uncle Tom and Aunt Lisa's new addition Slumber party Tom and Lisa's backyard is screaming for some Christmas lights Thanksgiving Scrabble and turkey carcass The hostess Aunt Michelle cooking something Our buffet line (the scalloped corn was clearly the best!) The girls waiting for dinner Nate and Sam have some tickle time Kat lounging Ava wearing her fairy wings Uncle David waiting for the Vikings to come on Uncle David and Aunt Michelle's backyard with a pond and covered bridge (see Kat and Tessa?)
Wonderful pictures. Tom and David's houses look awesome. What a backyard at
Dave and Michelle's! It was good to see everyone via your photos! Glad your
travels went well also. I didn't even get on a plane until I was almost 20 years old!
Your kids are already seasoned travelers!
We had a nice weekend, I'm still making preparations for the holidays. I sure hope I can avoid that frantic feeling that always comes over me just before Christmas. So
far everything is under control, including me, but time is running very short!
I'm trying to finish up the Christmas stuff, get ready for the bowl game weekend, and prepare for house guests who are arriving the week following the game! It's a very busy time! (Deloma and Charlie are in Orlando for the week, so we hope to be able to squeeze in a drive up there to see them!)
Gotta go now, as I have a doctor's appointment. Glad you are home safe and sound. We will see you very soon!
Love,
Gramma Judy

Greetings from Minnesota, What great pictures you have of our big weekend. It was wonderful to have all our kids and grandkids together again, and see everyone having a good time. The Honey Baked Turkey was so good, and tasted just as good as leftovers the next day. Sounds like Rob and Michelle are both in for some teasing on their driving experiences from this past week. It was GREAT to have everyone together for the holiday. And finally, a big enough house to fit everyone comfortably. The food was great. That scalloped corn recipe is in the mail Susan.....
We missed you Rob for the new Scene It game tradition. We did have fun talking about you though....ha ha.
Yes...an embarrassing stop on the way to the airport. (Those country roads are so easy to speed on!) At least no ticket...but a very detailed story of how a horse could come flying through my windsheild. The rolie polie cop must still have been a little dopey from that tryptophan. Sorry again to my passengers.
Thank you again for a great weekend. Have a safe happy holiday season!!
Love,
Michelle

Greetings from the cabin.........
It was great to have everyone (almost) together up here for Thanksgiving. The kids said it was one of the best Thanksgivings ever. We are glad everyone is back home safe and smooth.
