(Susan): There is currently no light source in our new rooms and by the time we get home it is dark. I shot some pictures in the dark and you see what I got. We have finalized some plumbing and venting, have two radiators coming out for repair and we have some more framing for walls. Tile and granite have been selected and it is looking good. Everyone had a good day today. Tessa had her school pictures. She has two half days of school starting tomorrow, followed by a Friday off for the school auction. We had a nice leisurely dinner at Sweet Tomatoes tonight and the kids have been giggling and playing since we got home. They fell asleep giggling and I managed to stay awake to get back up and make something of my day. Rob is morphing with the couch watching NYPD Blues and I'm off to sew some more. I never get tired of it!!! Happy Birthday Yesterday Grandma Delores and Happy Birthday Last Week Gramma Judy. Sorry about your boat trip!
Sam's new hat, gloves and slippers
Rob masters Jacob's Ladder (or as Sam says John's Tower)
Wow! Things are shaping up in your bathroom project! How exciting. Who is doing the work? It can't be Dan or you would never be this far along so quickly. :-)
Those are the coolest slippers, hat and gloves I have ever seen! And judging from the look of the music Tessa is playing from, she is really
making good progress on the piano. I am so pleased.
Jerry just walked in the door from fixing a flat tire I had last night over on Burnt Store Road. I was headed to a really fun seminar sponsored by
Southern Living Magazine and Dillards about how to decorate for the holidays, etc. Needless to say, I didn't make it. I also had to walk home in the dark as the other car is in the body shop. Bummer.
I woke up to the neatest sight this morning. There are several tractors mowing the vacant lots around us and following all those tractors are literally thousands of white egret birds. They apparently feast on the bugs or whatever that the newly mown grass uncovers. They were everywhere!
It was pretty cool.
Happy Birthday, Delores! I didn't realize we had birthdays so close together! I hope you had a very special day.
Well, I am scheduled to see Dr. Teufel soon, so I better wrap this up. We
will go over all of the test results and discuss how I am doing on the new
pills. There's not much to discuss because I haven't noticed any side effects at all. Thank goodness.
Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Gramma Judy

Hi Rob, Hi Susan! Susan, it was really nice to see you today. I read the barf-o-rama story, (how could I resist) and it was...well it was, um, pretty funny! Seems kinda cruel to laugh, but I guess if they can laugh, we can too. Nice i-Pod choices, Rob. I am the new owner of an iPod mini and I LOVE IT! Not sure how I ever lived without it. Maybe you could pay up on my noprize by letting me download, "Sugar, sugar, honey, honey" by the Archies. What do you think?
