(Rob:) Tessa Jean and I went to visit Cody and Amy this weekend, but don't come here looking to see pictures of Cody'd new haircut or Amy's pedicure: this visit was all about Elena, my seven-week old niece!
The princess waves to her loyal subjects.
Tessa finally found the baby sister she never had (but keeps asking for). The two of them were inseparable the whole weekend.
Elena marveling at Tessa Jean's (relatively) enormous noggin.
We had a great time on a short visit. Tessa Jean even chose to pass up a cool sleepover with her best friends here in K.C. Saturday night in order to go to Des Moines with me. She knew she would likely see Elena within a few weeks, but she didn't want to miss seeing her when she was very small. We do look forward to seeing the littlest Smith (and her entourage) again very soon!
I have the biggest smile on my face. What cute photos of three awesome kids. I loved them. So glad you were able to get to Des Moines to meet Elena. I think she has grown since Easter! What a beautiful smile she is now sporting. Fun stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Love,
Gramma Judy

What a beautiful baby! I think she looks like the Smith/Fritz side of the family. Hope we will get to see her too. Almost to cold to work outside today. G. Delores
