(Susan): I made it back home late Friday night after a very long day of travelling. I had checked out of my hotel at 0600, sat for my test for four hours, and made it into our kitchen at 1130. First things first, we put a frozen pizza in and then Tessa and Sam and I all took plates to the big bed and crawled in to eat our truly midnight snack. Rob was at a Johnny Rivers concert and when he finally got home, there was no room at the inn and he had to sleep on the couch. Now that the beastly test is over, it is time to think of more fun things like what quilt to make for David and Michelle's new-comer. School resumes this week on Wednesday, hard to believe. I have agreed to be the 5th grade volleyball coach so practices should be starting soon. Tonight Tessa has decided to write a book or three. Her first two ideas are fiction, and may need a little work yet. I suggested she write a non-fiction book about what it is like to have her leg lengthened. She has started a journal and we'll see where she goes. . . .
I assume the awesome family photo was taken while in Minnesota. It is great and I would love to have an 8X10 copy! (Hint, hint.)
Glad your test is over, Susan. That had to be a worry. Congratulations in advance, as I am sure you passed with flying colors.
Jer and I went to see the WORLD TRADE CENTER movie
yesterday. It is haunting.
It's all I could think about all day and all night. It's very well done, but extremely intense and disturbing.
It brings back all the frightening feelings of the horrible day.
The cable guy is supposed to come to the new house this afternoon, so once my desktop is hooked up, I will put together a blog of our progress over there.
We still have a lot of stuff to move, but it is starting to look like home.
Have a super week. I will be eager to hear about the first days of school for both Sam and Tessa!
Love to all,
Gramma Judy

The picture at the lake turned out great!! I wouldn't mind having a 4by 5 or a 5 by 7 copy to put in a frame too. I remember you said it would be your Christmas card picture. We had our church directory picture taken awhile back and they turned out pretty good, so I ordered one for each of you kids. G. Delores
