Gramma Judy

Hi. Finally, after a week or so of on-line withdrawal, I was able to connect to a free wi-fi via the Best Western hotel across the street from our condo. I had to come out on the porch to do it, but that's OK. I am just relieved to know it is possible to make a connection during our stay here.

We moved in yesterday; it is a nice place ... very clean, convenience, etc. On the backside we have a canal and on the front side
we have the Gulf. You have to peek between the buildings to see the Gulf as we are in the second tier and across the road, but we are enjoying knowing its there.

No big plans for the Super Bowl tonight. We're pulling for the Bears, and I have some "tailgate" foods to enjoy over halftime, so although our party will be small, we are looking forward to the game.

As for "sliding or sledding," As an Iowan, I would have to agree with "sledding." Your dad and I had one of those decades long debates over the word "lightning." I said it was lightning, he said it was lightnening. I don't think we ever resolved it. Good luck.:-)

Your weather looks just awful, but when I talk to Suzanne, hers sounds even worse! We picked a good time to be down here. It is extra cool today but still in the 60's. I'm so glad we weren't in central Florida. Wow, what a horrible mess from the tornado! We felt none of that, thank goodness.

We met Deloma and Charlie in Sarasota on Friday and went through the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey museum and mansion.
Wow. It was really something. I had to beg out and cut short the afternoon due to a rotten headache, but there was much more to cool stuff to see on another day.

I hope all is well with everyone. Please keep in touch and I will do the same. :-)

Loving and missing you all,
Gramma Judy

More good pictures of our fun weekend. It was minus 20 degrees this morning so we didn't even have our ladies coffee gathering. I managed to watch most of the Superbowl Game, it being too cold to go shopping or for a walk or anything else. Keep warm. G. Delores
