(Rob:) My cousin Kelly, who had her bunny stolen in the last post, turns 40 tomorrow (but she lives in the U.K., so tomorrow is actually today ... or something.)
Anyway, I understand she is celebrating it with her husband Hugh in Venice, Italy, which sounds magnifico.
Here's how she spent birthday #1 in Glenwood, Iowa:
(Our grandma was known for her skill in baking 3-dimensional birthday cakes)
Have a great birthday, Kelly!
Another great blog, Rob. Happy Birthday, Kelly! I hope you are having or did have a fabulous time in Venice. Venice sounds like the best way ever to celebrate a birthday. Thanks for the tribute Rob.

Rob,
Thank you for the lovely 40th birthday blog! Where does the time go?! I can't believe I am now "middle aged"! It was nice to also see Great-Grandpa May in the 1st birthday movie clip. I didn't get the chance to know him but I understand he was a kind-hearted soul. By the way, Hugh and I just returned from Venice tonight...and it was fabulous! I highly recommend that everyone spend their birthdays there! It was the most unique and beautiful city I have ever seen. Thanks again for the birthday wishes! Lots of love,
Kelly
