(Rob:) We had a great weekend visit to Denver last weekend for a Mother's Day celebration with three of my favorite mothers: Susan, Zanny and of course Granmma Judy (a.k.a The Big Mamu). Mom has had a rough month with some pretty brutal chemotherapy for her metastatic breast cancer, but she's fought though it with Suzanne's help and was feeling relatively good for the two days we were there.
(She has no hair, though, so don't freak out)
Here are some pictures:

Zanny and I made the traditional French Toast breakfast in bed for Mom on Sunday morning along with Tessa's help

A little hug from Gramma on a beautiful Mother's Day afternoon

Sam was practicing his foam arrow archery in the backyard

There's no fun like cousin fun

Jack's daughter Erin stopped by for a while and taught us some cool heavy metal faces

I like this one of Sam holding Susan's hand

The visit seemed too short as always, but we had a great time while we were there.

This one is from last week, when Cody and Amy brought Jude and Elena to K.C. for a quick visit. Cody and Amy and Beth and I went to see The Swell Season in concert- which was an amazing show. If you watched the Oscars this year you might remember them as the winners of the Best Song of the year for their song "Falling Slowly" from the movie "Once". Well worth a look on DVD if you're looking for a great movie with some fantastic musical moments.
