(Rob:) The blog returns with news of this year's amazing Father Daughter Dance at Visitation School!
Here are some pics from the house before going to the dance- with Tessa modeling her new halter-style dress (in 45 degree weather):
My little peach is definitely growing up
(Here she's leaning backwards to make my head look even bigger)

This year was similar to the other years in many ways, except more Miley Cyrus songs were played. Here are some cool dancing shots:
Can anyone name the letter of the alphabet being represented here?

The traditional post-dance trip to Winstead's on the Plaza for malts and fries
It was a great time as always, although I got a little bit misty looking at all of the tiny kindergardeners, trying to remember if Tessa was really ever that small and realizing that there won't be all that many more Father-Daughter Dances in my future..
Great pictures and really glad to see the blog back. Keep the pictures coming.
Love to All!!

What a beautiful young woman! Wow! I can't believe how quickly the years go by and how grown up she is!
I am so sorry I could not be there for Grandparent's Day and to see Tessa in her gown in person. I had such fun taking her shopping for the big dance last year.
Hopefully, I will be there next year with bells on.
:-)
I love you all ...

P.S. A special hug to Sam. Get well soon, "Butter"!

How time flies!!!!! Looking at the picture of the girls 4 years ago and then now,...WOW!
As Mother's Day comes to a close, I find myself feeling very sentimental and overwhelmed with blessings. 12 years ago today, Susan, Rob, Bill and I spent Mother's Day dinner at the 75th St Brewery pondering the ways in which our lives were soon to change FOREVER. Well, our lives DID change in so many ways with the births of our beautiful daughters, but some things have remained thankfully constant. And that constant would be our strong friendship. Our lives are so intermingled,... we are family. We are fortunate. It is a joy to watch Abbey and Tessa continue to remain close and nurture their friendship. As I think about the many blessings in my life, I'm thinking sooo strongly about the gift of having you all as my friends. Thanks.
